This course provides professional development for clinicians who want to update their knowledge about unintended pregnancy and medical abortion in primary care. Delivered online, clinicians can complete the course in a flexible way to suit their learning needs.
This course covers a comprehensive range of topics, including principles of non-directive counselling, unintended pregnancy options, legal and service frameworks for abortion and the role of primary care practitioners in information provision, assessment, follow up and referral as required.
