Course details
This course provides professional development for clinicians who want to update their skills and knowledge to assess and manage a range of common gynaecological presentations and conditions in primary care settings, using evidence-based tools and guidelines. Delivered online, clinicians can complete the course in a flexible way to suit their learning needs.
Course topics include pelvic masses, abnormal vaginal bleeding, oligo amenorrhea, pelvic pain and premenstrual disorders. The management in primary care of ongoing conditions such as PCOS and persistent pelvic pain are explored. Referral criteria and pathways, patient education resources and appropriate shared team care are included. A case-based approach is utilised throughout the course.

Course structure
This self-paced online course takes approximately 6 hours to complete. Participants can enrol at any time and will have up to one month to finish the course.
Recognition/accreditation
Participants who complete this course will be issued with a Statement of Completion.
This course is equivalent to 6 hours to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) requirements for CPD.
