If you are a doctor (including GPs and GP registrars) who wishes to upskill in reproductive and sexual health using the latest clinical research and an interactive learning method, this course is for you. Formerly known as FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health for Doctors, this course comprises pre-workshop online learning, a practical and interactive two-day face-to-face workshop and assessment.
This nationally recognised course provides current, evidence-based research and practice guidelines to enhance your knowledge, skills and confidence in reproductive and sexual health.
 Content includes:
- Contraceptive options
- Current guidelines for STI screening, including diagnosis and management
- Unintended pregnancy options
- Working with diverse groups, including adolescents and people living with disability
- Updates on the National Cervical Screening Program
- Menopause
- Men’s health
- Other reproductive and sexual health topic areas

Supervised Clinical Attachment $1,150

Eligibility/prerequisite
Participants will need to:
- Hold current unconditional registration with AHPRA
- Have 12 months post-registration experience
- Hold or obtain a theory and practical Implanon certificate before commencing clinical placement
