Yarning about STIs
Yarning Quiet Ways supports parents, carers, and trusted adults to have open, culturally safe conversations with children and young people about growing up, bodies, and relationships. The resource was developed in partnership with Aboriginal families and communities across NSW, and is structured by age and stage, so families can dip in wherever feels right for them, with tips for talking with little ones through to teenagers.
The resource also includes dedicated sections on:
-
Online safety tips
-
LGBTQASB+ support organisations
-
Yarning stories that bring conversations to life
-
Further support and resources for every stage
